In this video tutorial, learn how to remove the external door handle and repair it on a first-generation Smart Fortwo. First, open the front door and remove the external handle by unscrewing the screws of the side lock found on the sides of the door; then, extract the handle from the outside, possibly using a thin tool to pry it off, and disconnect its cable. At this point, disassemble all components of the handle and carry out the necessary repairs, as illustrated in the video. Finally, reassemble everything by applying the reverse procedure!
