Replacing the cabin filter in the Smart Fortwo 451 takes about 20 minutes. The filter is located inside the cabin, near the accelerator pedal.

To change it, first remove the cover and release the two clips. Now you can pull out the air filter from its housing and insert the new filter in its place.

Finally, refit the cover and the replacement is complete. It is recommended to replace the cabin filter in the Smart Fortwo 451 approximately once a year or sooner if it reaches 9,300 miles.
