How to adjust the handbrake of the Kia Sportage 3.

Adjusting the handbrake of the Kia Sportage 3 is a fairly simple operation, but for safety reasons, it would be better to have an authorized mechanic perform it. First, we need to remove the rear part of the central dashboard using a plastic lever, as this part is inserted by a snap-in mechanism, it should not be difficult to remove. Then, we take a socket wrench and insert it into the bolt located in the center, near the car's flooring. This will adjust the tension of the handbrake. In the meantime, we lift the handbrake to verify the correct tension.
