How to replace the lower lock of the rear door of the Ford Transit

In this video we can see how to replace the lower lock of the rear door of the Ford Transit MK7: we see that the lower part of the door is not secure, and the spring does not respond. We must therefore remove the plywood panel located on the rear door, simply by removing the screws that hold it in place. We remove the faulty lock, and we remove it by reaching inside the door, which is now accessible. The lock is very damaged, so we also remove the connection it has with the handle. We can find the replacement, complete with its cable, for example on Amazon with the code B0D66JG8NC at a price of 33.03 euros, + 2.16 euros for delivery. We reconnect the cable and reposition the lock in its housing, then secure it with the screws. We can put the plywood panel back in place. Operation completed.
