In this tutorial, we will see how to replace the external handle on a Ford Transit van, a very simple and quick operation. First, open the door you will be working on, then locate the plastic cover on the inner edge, right at the handle height, and remove it using a flat-head screwdriver. Next, unscrew the exposed screw with a Torx T15 key, being careful not to drop it, extract the lock cylinder, and separate the handle from the door by pulling it towards the rear of the vehicle. To install the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
