How to Replace the Key Fob Battery on a Ford Transit

To replace the battery in the key fob of a Ford Transit, take the key fob and locate the unlock button on the back. Press the button and extract the mechanical key; insert the tip of the key or a small flat screwdriver into the slot of the casing and carefully lever to separate the two halves of the fob. Inside, you will find the button battery, typically a CR2032 type. Remove the flat battery and insert the new one, ensuring the polarity is correct, with the positive side oriented properly. Close the fob by pressing until it clicks.
