Replacing the Remote Key Battery for a Ford Transit

Learn how to disassemble and replace the battery of the remote key for a first generation Ford Transit. First, take the remote in hand and use a lever to open the two halves of the remote casing to access the inside. At this point, pry out the electronic board and remove the old battery, replacing it with a new one of the correct type. Reassemble the new battery, inserting it the right way round, and close the two halves of the remote, as shown in the video (a DIY repair is also demonstrated).
