How to Change the Battery in a Ford Transit

Replacing the battery in a Ford Transit vehicle is a straightforward task but requires attention. First, turn off the vehicle and remove the key from the ignition. Open the bonnet, secure it in place with the appropriate prop, and locate the battery, usually in the engine compartment. Using a suitable spanner, disconnect the negative (-) terminal first, followed by the positive (+) terminal. Remove the securing bracket and carefully lift the battery out. Position the new battery, ensuring correct polarity and fit, then reconnect the positive terminal first, followed by the negative. Secure the battery and check the engine start.
