How to Replace the Battery in a Ford Transit

To replace the battery on a Ford Transit, open the driver's side door and locate the seat under which the battery is housed. Unscrew the seat fixing bolts and remove or tilt the seat to access the battery compartment.

Remove the protective cover, then completely switch off the vehicle and disconnect the negative terminal first, followed by the positive terminal. Unscrew the fixing bracket and remove the battery.

Insert the new battery into the same housing and secure it with the bracket. Connect the positive terminal first and then the negative, ensuring that the terminals are tightly secured.

Refit the cover, reposition the seat, securing it properly, and check the operation by turning on the dashboard.

How to Activate the Disabled TRC on the Toyota Yaris?
