How to remove the front passenger seat on the Ford Transit

The procedure for removing the front passenger seat on the Ford Transit described in the video pertains to models whose seats do not have an external manual release lever. It is therefore necessary to equip yourself with a sturdy cable tie or a flexible metal wire. We pull the handbrake, move the seat forward (or all the way back) to have the maximum working space around its base. We uncover the attachment point, which is located at the base of the seat, near the floor on the door side. We will see a small cover (or a slot) that covers the release mechanism. Inside we will find a plastic lever that, lacking a handle, must be operated from the outside: we create a loop with our cable tie, insert it into the slot, and hook it onto the lever, then pull it towards us: we will hear a "click" that tells us the lever is released. We repeat the operation on the other side of the seat. Now the seat is free, lift it and slide it out completely from the vehicle.
