First, take your remote and start by removing the back cover of the remote, using a small flat screwdriver to lever the sides; then remove and replace the battery with a new one, as shown in the video.

At this point, insert the battery, the correct type (in this case a CR 2032 3V), in the correct orientation; all that’s left is to reattach the remote cover and test its functionality!
