How to replace the external handle of a Ford Transit MK7

In this video, we will see how to replace the handle and external lock of a Ford Transit MK7: from the inside, we remove the handle that holds the internal handle. This will allow us to remove the internal door panel; we disconnect the electric connector of the window regulator, and disconnect the screw of the external handle from its seat. Now we can unscrew the sealing screw located on the outer part of the door, and remove the entire component. We unscrew the two screws located at the bottom of the panel in order to remove the bar; this will allow us, once the locking element of the lock is unscrewed, to also remove it from its housing. Disconnect the electric connectors and the spring. Clean the electrical socket well, and connect the spring and the connector to the new lock. Put back the tightening screws and then the bar, fixing it at the bottom. It's time for the handle, which should be inserted under the window regulator. Close the fixing screw, reconnect the window regulator connector, and put back the panel. Close the screw that secures the internal handle and the job is done.
