In this tutorial, learn how to replace the front door lock on the Ford Transit van, a very simple and quick operation. First, open the door you will be working on, then remove the corresponding inner panel, locate the metal clip at the back of the lock, and detach it by pulling it towards you. Next, insert the key, turn it clockwise, simultaneously press the small button indicated using a screwdriver, and extract the cylinder from the housing. Now, simply insert the replacement and reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
