Why the Horn Sounded on the Ford Transit When Closing the Door with the Remote

Model: Ford Transit - Years 2014-2024
Part: Door lock

Video tutorial
Detailed instructions - The horn sounding when closing the door on the Ford Transit was a warning: the old lock was faulty, and the system interpreted it as "not closed properly". The internal sensor of the old lock was damaged, and when locking with the remote, the system thought the door was still open. To alert us to this problem, the horn sounded. After replacing it with a new part, the sensor correctly detects that the door is closed, and when the remote is pressed, the system performs the standard procedure without errors and the horn no longer sounds.
