How to replace the car door lock

Let's see how to replace the door lock of the car. First, we need to remove the inner lining of the door, using a spatula to remove all the plastic parts, starting from the handle and then removing all the visible screws. Lift and then pull the panel towards us to remove it from its housing, after removing all the electrical connectors. There are models that may require the removal of the window lifter and the glass; remove the intermediate panel between the lining panel and the bodywork and remove the damaged lock. Now proceed to install the new lock (which can be easily found online for our car), connecting the wiring and putting the connection cables back in place. Screw the fixing screws on the side of the door before starting to put the internal lining panels back in place; if it is necessary to reposition the window lifter, fix all the supports. Put the inner lining back in place and the operation is complete.
