How to replace the soft top in the Smart

In this video we're going to see how you can replace a soft top on your Smart by yourself. First, with the button located near the automatic gearbox, press the sunroof closing button, with the aid of a screwdriver and a hammer remove the side plastics, unscrew the screws and nuts present on the edges; proceed with the help of pliers to detach the sliding bars and the retaining hooks positioned at the top, on the soft top frame, so that the soft top can come out of its housing. At this point proceed with the replacement of the top and with the fixing of the same, taking care to fix well all the pieces removed.

How to remove the instrument cluster located in the centre of the dashboard on a Citroen Xsara Picasso? Follow these steps to disassemble the parts: use a lever to remove the plastic covers of the instrument cluster. Unscrew the securing screws located at the sides of the instrument cluster with a screwdriver; after removing the screws, pull the piece out from the dashboard and disconnect the power cable located at the back of the instrument cluster. Fit the new piece or (replace the LEDs/bulbs in the cluster) and reassemble the same. Finally, reverse the assembly steps.
