Replacing Brake Discs, Callipers, and Pads

Model: Subaru Legacy BP, BL, MK 4 - Years 2003-2009
Part: Brake rotors

This guide explains how to replace the discs, callipers, and pads of your car's braking system. Gather your spanners and start by loosening the bolts on the callipers, then remove everything to easily access the pads. Remove and replace the pads. After this, focus on the disc. If the disc is worn, old, and rusty, tap the sides of the disc with a hammer to create some play and remove it easily. Once this is done, degrease everything with WD-40 and clean it thoroughly. Ensure the correct orientation of the pins and replace with a new disc. After reaching this point, you can fit the calliper with the new pads, and your work will be complete. Your braking system will be as good as new.

How to Remove the Engine Oil Filter of the Peugeot 308

How do you remove the engine oil filter of the Peugeot 308? Follow this guide to proceed with the replacement. Open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the front bonnet and secure it. Using a socket wrench, unscrew the large securing bolt of the container cap where the oil filter is located (engine compartment under the ventilation pipe). Drain the used oil from under the engine sump. Remove the worn oil filter and position a new one, ensuring it adheres well around the walls of the housing. Finally, refit the ventilation pipe and top up the engine oil. Close the front bonnet last.
