In this video, we will see how to carry out the regular maintenance service by changing the oil and oil filter on a Suzuki GSR 600. First, remove any lower fairings and then unscrew the oil drain bolt located under the engine; use a socket wrench to drain the oil into a container for about ten minutes. Next, unscrew the oil filter located near the exhaust headers and replace it with the new one, screwing it on by hand; all that’s left is to pour in the new engine oil!
