How to replace the key battery of a Suzuki Across?

To replace the battery of a Suzuki Across key, start by locating the small release button on the side of the key itself. By pressing this button, extract the emergency metal key, which allows you to open the key shell. After removing the metal key, look for a small crevice where you can gently pry apart the two halves of the key. Inside, you will see the battery, usually a CR2032. Use caution and, with the help of a small flathead screwdriver, remove the old battery being careful not to bend the metal contacts. Then insert the new battery, making sure the positive side is facing upwards, then realign the two halves of the key and close them by pressing until you hear a click. Put the metal key back in its position and make sure everything is securely in place.
