Suzuki Vitara: How to View and Reset Average Fuel Consumption

On the Suzuki Vitara, turn on the ignition and use the button on the right side of the instrument panel to scroll through the central display screens until "Average Consumption" appears. With this screen active, hold down the same button: the value will first be cleared and then reappear as zero, as shown in the video. By holding the button longer, you will enter the "Settings Mode", the onboard computer settings menu. Here, scroll through the options "Distance Unit", "Fuel Consumption", "Language", and "Reset Fuel Consumption" and select the latter to choose how the reset should behave. In the "Reset Fuel Consumption" submenu, the options "After Refuelling", "With Trip A", and "Manual" are available. Once you have set your preferred mode, return to the "Average Consumption" screen: the average fuel consumption of the Suzuki Vitara can be reset or updated according to the chosen setting.
