The steps to replace the remote battery on a Suzuki Vitara are simple and quick. Take the remote and use a flat-head screwdriver to pry open the edge of the casing to access the inside.

At this point, you will see the remote circuit and the battery compartment; use a smaller screwdriver to pry up one edge of the old battery and then proceed to remove it. Insert the new battery and close the casing by pressing down with your fingers to snap the two sides together.

The required battery model is a flat CR2032 3V.
