To replace the air filter on the Sym Joymax 250, loosen the screws securing the cover of the casing located near the rear wheel, just above the transmission. Once the casing cover is removed, you can unscrew the bolts holding the air filter in its housing. After removing the old filter, install the new one, securing it with the previously removed bolts; finally, seal it by reattaching the casing cover.
