How to remove the exterior mirror of a Toyota Rav 4? Follow the mirror removal process in the video: using a plastic lever, pry between the mirror frame and the glass. Pry until the exterior mirror detaches from the assembly; this operation is very delicate as the glass or the mirror itself may break. Once the damaged glass is removed, disconnect the power connector for the glass, press on the locking clips to detach the mirror cover (if to be replaced). Replace the damaged part with the new one. Ensure the plastic clips snap into place on the mirror supports.
