Let’s go through the steps to replace the key fob battery on the vehicle: First, get a pointed screwdriver and a new CR1632 battery. Press the button on the side of the fob to extract the emergency key. Then, insert the same emergency key into the slot next to the keyhole and pry to open the fob. Once the cover is removed, you will have access to the battery, which can be removed using the small screwdriver. Place the new battery in, making sure the positive side is facing up. Finally, reattach the fob cover and reinsert the emergency key.
