Then, position a container underneath and remove the lower protective cover. Next, locate the drain plug, loosen it using an 8 mm hex key, and allow all the oil to drain from the engine.

At this point, simply remove the old filter, tighten both the replacement and the plug, and pour in the new oil through the designated hole.
