How to Connect a Battery Maintainer to a Motorcycle Battery
Model: (Various brands) Various
Video tutorial
Detailed instructions - Let's see how to connect a Noco Genius1 battery maintainer, like the one in the video, to your motorcycle: you can find the device on Amazon with the code B0828L4H1P for £36.68, with free delivery for Prime customers. Take the cable provided with the maintainer (the one with two metal eyelets on one end and a plug on the other). Locate the battery (usually found under the seat or under the tank) and decide where to route the male plug (the one where you will connect the maintainer): you can choose under the seat or an external point as shown in the video. It should be convenient, as long as it is protected from moisture and debris. Attach the eyelets to the battery, connecting the red eyelet to the positive terminal and the black one to the negative terminal. Tighten the nuts well to ensure a good connection. Ensure that the cable is not under tension and does not pass near hot or moving parts. Refit the seat, ensuring that the cable is not pinched. Now the plug is fixed to the motorcycle, which, when stationary for a long time, connects the maintainer, and the device will operate automatically.
