In most scooters of this type, the battery is located under the central footwell, beneath a cover secured with four crosshead screws, where the battery is held in place by two screws at the terminals. Remove the screws and extract the old battery (dispose of it at an authorised recycling centre). It's a good idea to measure the battery compartment, as it may accommodate a larger battery. Then, place the new battery in position, securing the terminals: check if the scooter starts, then refit the cover onto the base, and the operation is complete.
