Replacing the Wing Mirror on Golf Series 6

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 6, Golf VI, Golf 6, 5K1 - Years 2008-2012

To replace the wing mirror, proceed as follows. Using a plastic lever, pry outward to detach the mirror from the supports holding it to the base; once freed, you can disconnect the two connectors that allow for electric adjustment. Once done, replace the mirror and reconnect the two connectors (be careful to mark the correct position beforehand to avoid reversing the contacts); now position the glass inside its housing and press gently to ensure the anchoring pins are secured to the base (you will hear a click for each pin locked). Operation complete.
