This guide provides the main instructions on how to remove and replace the fuel cap and flap on a Volkswagen Vento. First, open the fuel flap and begin disconnecting the fuel cap cable from the flap; then remove the cap and pry off the internal plastic to take it out, as shown in the video. At this point, also remove the fuel flap lock, replacing the components with new original ones; then refit the new flap and fuel cap, applying the reverse procedure.
