Replacing the Indicator Bulb on a Golf 5 External Mirror

Is the indicator on your Volkswagen Golf mirror damaged? Here’s how to remove the mirror. Pry between the perimeter of the mirror's frame and the mirror glass. Continue prying until the plastics detach from the mirror (disconnect the power cable if it has a demister). Remove the cover that conceals the mirror, then unscrew the securing screws of the indicator light. Replace the bulb inside the indicator light. Fit the new mirror onto the base of the mirror housing, connect the electric connector for the demister, and reattach the cover.
