Instructions for Removing a Broken Bolt

If the head of a bolt breaks during disassembly and the threaded shaft remains inside the hole, you need to find a way to remove it without causing damage. Proceed as shown in the video by centre-punching the bolt to guide the drill bit. Use a drill bit of the appropriate diameter (for an M8 bolt, a 5 mm bit is recommended) and try either to create a thread with a tap (using a tap wrench, not pliers) or insert a Torx insert to unscrew the broken bolt. If a small portion of the bolt is still exposed, try to unscrew it with a punch.
