How to Reset the AdBlue Light on the Volkswagen Passat

If you notice that the AdBlue light has illuminated while driving and a message appears on the display indicating a mileage after which the vehicle will not start, it means you need to top up the anti-pollution additive. Purchase a canister of the fluid and fill the tank marked with a blue cap located next to the diesel fuel cap. Once topped up, turn on the ignition, and the AdBlue indicator light will turn off.
