Here are the instructions to open the fuel flap and cap on the Volkswagen Passat, as well as other models from the manufacturer. First, take your remote control and unlock the door locks by pressing the appropriate button; then move to the fuel flap and press the left edge to open it, as illustrated in the video.

Now unscrew the fuel cap counter-clockwise to refuel at the petrol station; you will also find the cap for the AdBlue fluid next to it.
