As we can see in this tutorial, removing the ceiling light in the Volkswagen Golf is an extremely simple and fast operation. First of all, make sure the key is not inserted, then using a preferably plastic spatula to avoid leaving marks, remove the outer frame. Then disconnect the two power connectors, remove the base and proceed by unscrewing all the indicated screws. At this point, all that's left is to disconnect the additional internal connector, separate the rest of the ceiling light from the roof and install the replacement if necessary.
