To reset the Service light on a Volkswagen Jetta, press and hold the 0.0 button located in the lower central area of the instrument panel for a few seconds. At the same time, insert the ignition key into the ignition switch and turn it to power up the instrument panel. When prompted whether you really want to reset the light, you can release the 0.0 button. This way, you will notice that the light has been reset, and you can turn off the instrument panel.
