How to Replace the Window Switch Panel on the Volkswagen Golf

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 6, Golf VI, Golf 6, 5K1 - Years 2008-2012
Part: Power window switch

Remove the panel under the armrest to access the three screws that need to be unscrewed. Next, unscrew the screw located at the bottom of the door. Now, pry between the metal part of the door and the panel to release the clips securing the plastic part. Be careful when removing the panel to disconnect all connected connectors. After completely removing the door panel, you can work directly on it to replace the window controls. Follow the steps in reverse for reassembly.
