In order to disassemble the engine of the Yamaha YZF 125R, you need to loosen the screws that secure the cylinder to the top of the engine block: once this cylinder has been freed, you can proceed to detach the piston from the corresponding connecting rod located in its lower part, removing the pin and the retaining ring. Once the connecting rod has also been freed from the crankshaft, you can slide the latter out from the base of the engine block, accessing the additional components: it may be possible to replace them and close the engine again.
