To change the motor oil of a Yamaha Super Ténéré, make sure the motorcycle is positioned stably on a flat surface, preferably using a center stand. Start the engine for a few minutes to slightly warm up the oil, so it becomes more fluid and easier to drain, but wait for the engine to not be too hot to avoid burns. Find the oil drain plug located under the engine and place a basin to collect the used oil. Using the appropriate wrench, loosen the plug and let all the oil drain completely, being careful to collect it in the basin without splashing in other areas. Once the flow is finished, clean the drain plug and check for any residues of old oil or unwanted particles. Carefully tighten the plug, avoiding over-tightening to avoid damaging the thread. Then find the fill plug on the engine block and slowly pour in the new oil, observing the levels indicated on the dipstick or the designated inspection window. Once the optimal level is reached, securely close the fill plug, start the motorcycle for a few minutes, and check for any leaks.
