In this tutorial we can see how to replace the engine oil in the Yamaha XT 225, an extremely simple and fast operation. First of all, make sure that the engine is cold enough, then remove the lower protective cover and place a container underneath the motorcycle. Next, locate the drainage hole bolt, unscrew it using a 19mm socket wrench and let all the oil in the system drain out. At this point, all that's left to do is to open the filter cap, insert the replacement, reassemble everything and pour the necessary amount of oil through the appropriate hole.
