In this guide, we will see the steps that will allow us to reset the engine malfunction indicator light of the Yamaha MT-09, after solving any problems. First, we put the motorcycle on the stand and turn on the instrument panel; we connect our diagnostic software to the engine control unit socket, in order to put the devices in connection, as shown in the video. At this point, we go to the error menu to confirm and perform the engine light reset; finally, we turn off the panel and disconnect the diagnostic software, finally turning on the engine!

First, ensure that the key is not inserted, then remove the rider's seat and, using a 10mm socket spanner, loosen the bolt on the tank hinge. Next, unscrew both the front bolts and the fairing mounting bolts, lift the entire tank, and disconnect both terminals starting with the negative.
