This video shows how easy it is to open the seat of the Yamaha T-MAX 530: ensure the scooter is off. The seat opens with a switch that, depending on the version, may be on the handlebar, near the grip, or integrated into the ignition switch. In some models, there is a lock or a button on the side of the ignition switch.

If it is a button, simply press it. If it is a switch, move it to the indicated position (you will find the symbol of an open seat next to it). If it is integrated into the ignition switch, simply turn the key in the ignition, and the seat will unlock.

At this point, just lift it, and you're done.
