Raise the rear wheel with a jack with rubber pads. Use a special chain cleaner spray. Pass it over all the links of the same by rotating the rear wheel in the meantime. Buy and use the special double chain brush and, in the same way as before, spin the wheel. Go over the entire length of the chain with the cleaner. Wipe off any excess spray. Now grease the chain with a spray grease: make sure you have done the job well so that all the links and their spaces are greased. Dry once more.

How to change the engine oil of Derbi Fds

Let's find out below the instructions on how to carry out the routine maintenance service, replacing the engine oil and the oil filter, of the Derbi Fds. First of all, we put the stand on our bike and start to drain the engine oil, unscrewing the vent bolt that we find under the engine; let the old oil drain in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we unscrew the filler cap and carry out the new top up; we use the oil with the right characteristics, finally checking the oil level using the dipstick!
