First, remove the pins holding the pads in place simply by pulling them out (you may use a flat screwdriver to assist). At this point, you can remove the pin by pulling it with pliers. Now that the pin is out, the outer support will also come off, as there is nothing left to hold it in place. Once here, you can also remove the brake pads from their housing. Slightly widen the pistons before inserting the new pads into the caliper, as these will obviously be thicker than the ones removed. Refit the support, the pin, and the pins.
