To replace the engine oil on a Yamaha FZ6, loosen the drain plug of the oil tank, which is located on the left side of the bike, just below the circular cover. Once the plug is open, allow the oil in the tank to drain completely; when it has finished, close the plug and remove the oil filter located to the right of the cover so that it can also be replaced. After the replacement, top up the oil by pouring it through the drain hole, using a tube or a funnel.
