To replace the battery of the Yamaha Xmax 300, loosen the bolts located at the base of the windscreen that secure it in its housing. These screws are found at the front of the vehicle. Once the windscreen is removed, you can unscrew the screws that secure the front fairing, located just above the handlebars. At this point, the fairing can be removed, allowing access to the underlying battery, which must be disconnected from the cables and freed from its housing. After removal, you can insert the new replacement part.
