In this tutorial we can see how to replace the engine oil in the Yamaha SMAX 150 scooter, a very simple and quick operation. First of all, we wait for the engine to cool down sufficiently, then we position a container underneath the scooter and, using a 19mm hex key, unscrew the drain plug. We then remove the filter, clean it from any dirt residue, and proceed by unscrewing the second drain bolt. At this point, all that's left to do is reassemble everything and pour in the new oil through the top hole.

This short video will show you how to carry out the routine maintenance service by replacing the engine oil and oil filter on the Aprilia RSV 1000 motorcycle. First, place your motorcycle on the centre stand and start by unscrewing the oil drain bolt located under the engine, allowing it to drain into a container for about ten minutes; then use the appropriate tool to unscrew and remove the oil filter, replacing the cartridge with a new one as shown in the video. Finally, unscrew the filler screw and top up by pouring in the suitable oil for your engine!
