To change the motor oil on a Yamaha XTZ 125, start by lifting the bike using a stand or a stable platform. Place a container under the engine to collect the used oil. Identify the oil drain plug, usually located at the bottom of the engine, and unscrew it with an appropriate wrench. Let the used oil drain completely into the container. Once the flow has stopped, reattach the drain plug and tighten it carefully. Then, locate the oil fill plug, usually located on the top of the engine. Remove it and use a funnel to pour the new motor oil in the amount specified in the manual. After filling the oil, reattach the fill plug and make sure it is securely fastened. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes to ensure the oil reaches all parts of the engine. Turn off the engine and check for any oil leaks around the drain plug and fill plug. Finally, dispose of the used oil and filters according to local regulations. This process helps maintain the engine in optimal condition and prolong its life.
