In this tutorial, we can see how to replace the motor oil in the Yamaha XT 600, an extremely simple and quick operation. First of all, we wait for the engine to be cold enough, then we position a container under the motorcycle, locate the bolts of the two drain holes and unscrew them both using a 19mm socket wrench. We then let all the oil contained in the system drain out, also removing the top cap to facilitate the operation, open the filter housing and insert the replacement. At this point, all that remains is to reassemble everything and pour the new oil through the top hole.
