Answer

The gearbox of the Land Rover Defender TD4 and TD5 are very similar and simple to use. In fact, in addition to the normal gear lever, there is the reduced gear lever which, positioned on the right side, does not engage the differential lock. The front position engages the normal gears, while in the rear position it allows the gear to be engaged.
