This guide shows how to unlock the automatic transmission of the Range Rover Evoque in the N position. If you cannot shift the transmission from P to N using the gear selector in the cabin, you can perform an emergency procedure to unlock it. From inside the engine compartment, you can unlock the transmission by acting on a lever located on top of the transmission. In fact, under the air filter, there is a lever that you need to move to the right and then secure it with a 6 mm pin in the designated hole. At this point, you can move the vehicle. The rearming of the transmission must be performed by a specialized center.
